How to Love a Person that’s Been Through Hell and Back
It’s 3:23 AM and God woke me up to write this blog post. I tried to ignore His calling upon me and go back to sleep but that wasn’t happening. He continued to tug at my heart and write this post, “How to Love a Person that’s Been Through Hell and Back”, in hopes it helps you, that’s reading this right now.
I’ve found the man I want to spend the rest of my life with, and just like every couple, we have our ups and downs too. Also, just like every couple, we hope and pray to work through and overcome these tribulations.
I Broke Into Uncontrollable tears…
Two nights ago we were on the verge of calling it quits and then something happened. Chris had already gone to bed, as he had to get up very early for work, so I was scrolling through Facebook and happened upon a post titled “How to Love a Person that’s Been Through Hell and Back.” I clicked on it and began to read. As I started reading it, my eyes filled with tears, my heart shattered, and eventually the stream of tears were flowing uncontrollably down my face.
I knew it had to be God sent because it came to me at the very moment in time that I needed to read and understand it, as it made me take a deep look inside myself, and my very own actions towards Chris.
It gave me compassion for Chris because I had never really digested some of the things that had just awakened inside me, like this blog post had just done. I discovered how difficult I must be for him. I also realized how difficult it is for me to understand him. Why, because we’ve both been through hell and back.
We ALL have been through hell at some point in our lives. Some have made it back and some are still struggling to overcome it. I feel it doesn’t matter what kind of hell you’ve been through, the post I’m speaking of is worth a read. We’ve been through hell and back and so has our partner, our friend, or family member.
When we realize our actions and reactions from the hell we’ve been through, we can see each other with different eyes. After I read that blog post, I went upstairs to bed and hugged Chris with all the love I had, still with tears flowing down my face. He lovingly comforted me and we fell back to sleep holding each other.
Love Conquers All!
Spreading Love is the message I hope to share each and every day. I fall short of this many times, but it’s still the core of my being. The greatest lesson that God teaches us is to Love. I truly and deeply believe that Love conquers all. I truly and deeply believe that if we love and show love, our relationships will strengthen. All relationships!
Broken Souls Need Love. Broken Souls Need Compassion!
ALL of us are damaged, all of us, so let’s have compassion for people who have interaction with us, and as we interact with them. Broken souls need Love! Broken souls need compassion! We all are a mirror image of each other of broken souls.
Here’s the link to the blog post that changed my entire outlook, lifted me up in spirit, broke my heart, changed my way of thinking, and that God woke me up to share with you….Click Here. It’s written about a broken woman and what kind of person it takes to love her, posted by Kathy Parker.
If you find it is as helpful to you as it was for me, please come back here and leave me a comment. I’d love to hear your opinion if this made as much of an impact on you as it did me.
